Who we are
Jemima AI, 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ.
This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, including our chat assistant, SMS demos and voice demos. If you have any questions, get in touch using the button at the end of this page.
Data we collect
- Details you give us through our website forms: your name, email address, phone number, and whether you would like to be contacted by SMS.
- Extra details you choose to share about your business, such as what your business does, your team size, the tools you use, and where you spend the most time.
- The content of any SMS messages you exchange with our demo number.
- Recordings and transcripts of any voice conversations you have with our voice demos.
- The messages you send to our website chat assistant.
- Basic website usage data, such as pages viewed and time on page, collected through analytics only after you accept cookies.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiries and arrange a workflow review.
- To run our SMS demos and reply to your messages.
- To follow up about our services where you have asked us to.
- To measure how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To fix technical problems and keep the site secure.
We rely on your consent for analytics cookies and for any SMS marketing, and on our legitimate interest in responding to you and running our business for everything else.
Services we use
We use a small number of third-party providers who process personal data on our behalf. They fall into the following categories:
- A messaging provider sends, receives and stores the SMS messages used in our demos.
- A voice-AI provider powers our voice demos and stores recordings and transcripts of those voice conversations.
- An analytics provider measures website activity, only after you accept cookies, and does not identify you by name.
- Cloud productivity and storage tools store and handle the enquiry and contact details you submit, so we can respond and follow up.
- A workflow-automation tool passes your form submissions between these services.
- An AI language-model provider currently powers our website chat assistant and processes the messages you send in that chat.
Some of these providers are based outside the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. These set cookies on our own domain only and do not track you across other websites.
Nothing loads until you choose Accept on our cookie banner. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set and Google Tag Manager is not loaded at all.
Your choice is saved in your browser (under jemima_cookie_consent) so we do not ask again. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings, which reopens the banner.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above.
If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so, unless we are required to keep it to meet a legal obligation.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you the personal data we hold about you,
- correct it if it is wrong,
- delete it, or
- stop using it for a particular purpose.
You can withdraw consent for analytics at any time through Cookie settings, and stop SMS messages by replying STOP. To make any other request, get in touch using the button at the end of this page and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
